Your Marketing Manager

As a sole trader or small business owner, you recognise that marketing is fundamental to your continued business growth and in some cases your survival.   However, you don’t have the resources to hire someone full time, nor the time or expertise to manage this function yourself.

The “Your Marketing Manager” service solves this problem, but providing you with the proven marketing expertise you need, as and when it’s required.  This means that you only pay for the services you use, and your time is spent focusing on delivering your objectives, rather than trying to get to grips with what marketing can do for your business.

 How it works

Part 1: Marketing Strategy and Plan Development

Marketing success depends on having a plan.  The fundamentals of the plan involve understanding:

  • Your business:  what product/service are you selling? What are your business and/or sales objectives?  What are your internal strengths and weaknesses? What are the opportunities and threats of your operating environment?
  • Your competitors: Who are they? What makes you/them different? What makes you/them better?
  • Your customers: Who are they?  What are their issues or needs?  Why should they buy from you?
  • Your objectives:  What do you want marketing to do for your business?
  • Your messages:   What are the key selling points you want to communicate to your customers?
  • Your channels:  What are the best ways to reach your customers which convey your key messages and help you to achieve your marketing objectives?

The “Your Marketing Manager” service begins with the development of your marketing strategy.    The strategy can be developed in various ways – through workshops with you and your team, surveys with your customers and through desk research.  The outcome of this stage is a recommended month by month marketing plan.

Part 2:   Marketing Plan Implementation

The Marketing Lady can take responsibility for implementing the agreed marketing plan.  The level of investment needed depends on the level of marketing activities deemed necessary to achieve your objectives.

 What it costs

Depending on your requirements, the development of your marketing strategy requires an investment of £1000 - £1500.  As a result of the plan, you can decide which level of marketing investment is needed to implement it:

  • Bronze Package: 2 days of time a month @ £700 per month

  • Silver Package: 4 days of time a month @ £1300 per month

  • Gold Package: 6 days of time a month @ £1800 per month
